family and my plans for other people

This year all of a sudden a bunch of people I know got pregnant. My best friend, Kira, is also with child. She's due in December. Ericka, another really close friend, is due anytime. I also know about 3 other women who got knocked up around the same time and are due by the end of the year. You would figure that as a single woman living by myself with pretty much no single girlfriends, I would be going out of my mind, but I'm not. I can't wait to see all those babies arrive. It's kinda like the beginning of a new era, and it's fun. It feels grown up.

I'm also sad because some people might be moving and I won't really be able to see their kids grow up up close, but I know I'll always be there for their milestones. What I really want is for my sister to get pregnant, to be honest. I can't wait to be a real aunt, and I know I'll be the best one there is.

My sister is getting married in April, and she just found the house she and her boyfriend, my soon to be brother-in-law will live at. Look:

How cute is that? I can't wait to see that house populated with people, specially babies. I know she's gonna read this and laugh because I don't really know if kids are in her near future plans, but they are on mine.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this. I'm happy for them and can't wait to see them handle married life. It's going to be fun and probably funny. Cheers to them. And to their future babies!
