Yesterday I endend up spending a good 2 hours at Crate & Barrel just browsing around things I won't be able to afford in the near future. I had to settle for 3 plates and an ice cube tray that added up to less that $30. When checking out, I said it was gift to someone because I really wanted the box, which you can see above. Don't you just love that type?
At night, I went to Video Game Live ,which was a very odd experience. Absolutely great, but nevertheless strange. VGL is on tour worldwide, and they put on a show with different symphony orchestras that play the music of the most famous video games of all times. I saw people dressed as video game characters, wearing capes and all types of medieval garments. When act one was over and the lights were turned on, you could see people desperatelly pulling their portable games out of their bags and pockets like they had been counting down the seconds for that one moment. They even played that Numa Numae song, and I swear those kids were all having a ball like this one right here. I was in the twilight zone, but it was pretty amazing. The true beauty of the night were the people-watching moments when the lights were on.
